Pre-Departure Orientation
The Work Abroad Predeparture Orientation is offered each semester and is designed to prepare Work Abroad students with health and safety information, general work abroad skills, the cross-cultural experience of working in another country and general cross-cultural adjustment information.
The Work Abroad Predeparture Orientation is offered twice per semester for students who have an offer for an international internship. It is required for all Work Abroad students to attend the Predeparture Orientation. Please visit the Work Abroad Calendar for exact dates, times and locations for the orientations.
OIT Cross-Cultural Orientation
The Office of International Education provides an in-depth cross-cultural orientation each semester. Work Abroad student are required to attend this orientation the semester prior to working abroad. Please visit the OIE calendar for exact dates, times and locations.
