The following programs can assist you in your search for International Service Learning. The fees for services vary from program to program. Most International Service Opportunities do not pay any stipend or wages. Programs usually run for a period of a summer or semester, but in some cases, you may be able to stay longer. The following organizations can help you if you choose to participate in an International Service Learning Opportunity through the Work Abroad Program.

AIESEC provides meaningful paid internships in 103 countries in business, economics, international affairs, and some engineering disciplines. AIESEC is the world's largest student-run exchange program. The overall aim is to promote international and cultural understanding through the student work exchange program.

    Child Family Health International
    is a 15 year old non profit organization offering socially responsible global health electives for students of the health sciences. Travel to Bolivia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Nicaragua or South Africa to immerse yourself in new cultural contexts and to learn about the way healthcare is practiced and experienced worldwide. CFHI’s global health electives are 4 to 8 weeks long and run every month of the year. Electives include clinical rotations with local preceptors in a variety of settings each day during the week. Housing is with local home-stay families, or, in some cases, guest houses where home-stay families are not available. Language instruction is included (including Medical Spanish instruction) in all Spanish-speaking programs. Academic credit can be arranged with the cooperation of your university or school.     CCI is a nonprofit international exchange organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, academic development, environmental consciousness, and world peace. We offer a variety of short-term programs abroad including Greenheart Volunteer Projects and Internships for college students and adults in over 30 countries worldwide. The majority of our programs focus on the homestay experience allowing the student to learn even more about the culture and also increase language proficiency. Our internships are 1-4 months in length providing the student with professional experience in their area of study. As a Greenheart Volunteer, students can help protect the environment, build stronger communities and work to increase awareness of global environmental and humanitarian issues.
