The Society of Hispanic Engineering Students (SHPE) promotes the development of Hispanics in engineering, science and other technical professions to achieve educational excellence, economic opportunity and social equity.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), with more than 15,000 members, is the largest student-managed organizations in the country. NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
- Society of Physics Students
The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a national organization with over 600 active chapters. Anyone interested in physics may join the local chapter at his or her college or university. Sigma Pi Sigma National Physics Honor Society exists together with SPS. Both operate under the American Institute of Physics. SPS was formed in 1968 as a union of the American Institute of Physics Student Sections and Sigma Pi Sigma. Sigma Pi Sigma was founded as an honor society at Davidson College in 1921.

The ACCE is an independent entity whose primary mission is the recognition of the achievement and maintenance of standards for programs of cooperative education.
- American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE)
A nonprofit member association dedicated to promoting and improving engineering and technology education.
- Cooperative Education & Internship Association (CEIA)
The Cooperative Education & Internship Association provides professional support to its members who work in education and business. It is the largest professional association for cooperative education. CEIA is dedicated to promoting cooperative education as the premier model of work-integrated learning.

- National Commission for Cooperative Education (NCCE)
The National Commission for Cooperative Education (NCCE) is dedicated to advancing cooperative education throughout the United States. Since 1962, the Commission and its college and business members have supported the development of quality work-integrated learning programs.
