Did you know? Georgia Tech Co-ops and Interns, as a group, earn approximately $20 Million per year.

Housing

The majority of the companies assist students in finding adequate housing for your stay in your host country. Housing can range from company provided dormitories to rented apartments.

If you currently live in Georgia Tech campus housing and are accepted to work abroad, your advisor will give you a form to take to the campus housing office which will allow you to cancel your housing contract without penalty and to get a refund for your housing deposit. If you plan to work abroad during a given semester but are not sure you will get a job, it is recommended that you register for classes and sign up for housing as a back-up plan. All can be easily reversed if you are hired.

Remember to have your mail forwarded for the duration of your work abroad semester(s). If you currently have a campus address, enter your forwarding address at http://studentcenter.gatech.edu/post_office/student_mail.htm. If you currently have an off-campus address, enter your temporary forwarding address at the US Postal Service site: https://moversguide.usps.com/?referral=USPS.
