Driving Directions, Lodging & Parking
PARKING INFORMATION:
Visitors and recruiters should park on the lower level of the Burge Parking Deck located at North Avenue and Fowler Street adjacent to the Alumni House ( 190 North Avenue, Atlanta 30313) and across the street from the football stadium.
A new credit card ticketing system has been installed that will allow you to pay using cash or a credit card. The cost of parking is $1 per hour. Please be sure to pay before leaving the deck because ticketing, towing and "booting" of illegally parked vehicles are enforced, and resulting costs must be borne by the recipient.
If you find this area full, please proceed to the Student Center Visitors' Lot located on Ferst Drive. To reach this lot from Burge Parking Deck, turn left out of Fowler Street onto North Avenue. Take the first right onto Cherry Street, then left at the stop sign onto Ferst Drive. You will see the Student Center Visitors' Lot on the right (in approximately one-tenth of a mile). The fee at the Student Center Visitors' Lot is $0.50 per half-hour with a maximum of $10 per day.
WORK ABROAD OFFICE INFO:
Our office is located at 237 Uncle Heinie Way, in the A. French Bldg., Suite 112. To get to our office from the Burge Parking Deck, take the stairs to the top level of the deck and walk across the bridge. Keep straight passing Carnegie Hall on your left and the Student Success Center on your right. Keep on the walk way turning left and the A. French Building is on your right (across from Junior’s Grille). Take either the stairs or the elevator to the second floor.
INTERVIEW DAY CHECK-IN:
We recommend that you arrive on-campus approximately one hour before your first interview. To see what your schedule looks like at any time, you can log into your P2D2 account at https://webwise.gtri.gatech.edu/p2d2/.
After parking (parking information is above), please check in at the Division of Professional Practice main office located on the first floor of the Savant Building, 631 Cherry Street, in Room 112. Our office is open from 7:30AM-5PM. As you sign in, a business card will be requested, and you will be given an employer packet with your interview schedule and resumes. Then a co-op advisor will walk you over to the skyboxes in the Bill Moore Student Success Center where the interviews are typically held.

LODGING :
The hotel that is the most accessible to our office is the Hampton Inn located at 244 North Avenue NW, Atlanta , GA 30313. It is within easy walking distance (less than 1/8 mile) and can be reached at 404-881-0881
Another on-campus option is our Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center located in Technology Square, a three-block area in Midtown Atlanta on the eastside of campus. This is located within one mile of our office and can be reached at 404-347-9440 or http://www.gatechhotel.com/.
