Fall 2008 Information Sessions:
The Work Abroad Information Sessions will be held in the Bill Moore Student Success Center (SSC). See list below for exact room. Work Abroad Information Sessions give students an excellent opportunity to hear about Work Abroad opportunities and get answers to frequently asked questions.

Work Abroad Pre-departure Orientation:
The Work Abroad Pre-departure orientation is required for all placed Work Abraod Students. This orientation will provide students with vital information and guidance for preparing to live and work in another country. Students who have obtained an international internship must attend an orientation the semester before they will be abroad as this is a pre-departure requirement. Both orientations will be held in the Student Success Center.

Fall 2008 Safety Abroad Workshop
The Safety Abroad Workshops are required for all placed Work Abroad students. This workshop is designed to help prepare Work Abroad students on critical saftey issues while abroad. Students will be informed about safety issues, crime prevention and travel tips as well as learn “what” and “who” to avoid, and common sense steps to make their Work Abroad experience fun, productive and most importantly, safe.

**During a fall or spring semester, students are required to work a minimum of 16 weeks. During a summer semester, students are required to work a minimum of 12 weeks.
